Yearning Hearts

Chance,karma,destiny
call it what you may.
starry eyes of a lovers soul
that came to pass my way.

On a late night early spring
two worlds became as one,
in a passionate kiss and
a tangled embrace,that
could never be undone.

For all that was and will be
laid claim upon my heart,
never knowing of tomorrow
or if our worlds would part.

I gave myself completely,
there was no compromise,
for everything that mattered
was in my lovers eyes.

There was no time nor space,
no future or a past
just a promise of a love
that knew it could not last.

And so, the night passed on around us
and with time, also change
and all things that had bound us
were forever rearranged.

Tho years have come and gone
yearning hearts still left constrained
true love has not forgotten,
precious moments that remain.
